Ford Sync V4.4 Download

I was looking on the new Ford Owners website and under Sync Services, it said my non-Navigation equipped 2011 Flex had a new Sync update, v4.4. I dumped it to a USB stick and tried following Ford's instructions, while the instructions were somewhat close to actual I was able to fumble my way through and finally got the update installed.

Apr 14, 2016  Does anybody have the download file for Sync version 4.4? I tried to download it but the page does not work or keeps looping back to the press here to download the update page. DR3T-14D544-AF SYNC v4.4 but the last version i had was v3.2. So that sounds about right. Feb 18, 2016 #4 SGilbert. Ford Motor Company or any other.

  1. Apr 07, 2015  Theres a new update for Ford Sync for 2010-2014 cars with Sync. Ive done the update on my 2010 GT500 and 2014 GT. Adds a bunch of cool new features like blu-tooth audio track and artist info.resume play from blu-tooth and USB.reads and sends.
  2. Anyone have the sync update? I'm trying to update sync to DR3T-14D544-AF SYNC v4.4 but when I click download the page just reloads. Does anyone have a link to the file? Just checked again. There was one update that I had done that didn't show on the site someone on the Ford IVT told me about using my VIN to check. Turns out that one was.
One thing to remember if you try this is that there are time gaps when things appear frozen, you have to wait for those to catch up, then the next procedure will start. There are 2-3 re-boots of the system, gotta keep waiting for the 'Installation Complete' message.Ford Sync V4.4 Download
I went back to the FO website to validate the install from the USB stick, the website uploaded an .xml file from the USB stick and said it was done.
I had to re-pair my bluetooth iPhone.
I haven't tried any of the improvements yet.
